Syria - far removed from modernity
Syria - witness to civilizations and cultures ranging from caravans hauling along the Silk Road  from China, to the battles of legendary warriors like Alexander the Great.
Today, this country’s fertile valleys, arid mountains peaks, and vibrant souks are  gems awaiting to be rediscovered and invite the adventurous traveler to trace ancient trails.

TLB does not own any of the transport used and prefers to hire locally this benefiting the destination country.

TLB is the initiator and founding member of  CIFA (Centre pour l’Insertion par la Formation et l’Activité), a non-profit organisation. CIFA’s objectives are to participate in and contribute to local development by offering:
- Opportunities to improve the standard of living for the local community - Awareness events concerning environment, biodiversity, and cultural heritage -Tour leader training sessions - Assistance in the establishment of micro-enterprises - Intervention to support deprived school children.
